NotarisVoorstel is a platform that connects home buyers and individuals with notary offices near them, with direct quote requests, reviews, and a management environment for the offices themselves.

Project details
Finding a suitable notary and comparing quotes was often a cumbersome, opaque process for individuals and home buyers. That's the problem NotarisVoorstel solves. I originally built this project for a client, and we've since started collaborating to grow the platform further together. Visitors quickly find a suitable office nearby and request a quote directly, for example for buying a home, drafting a will, or setting up a company. Search works by location and specialism, using the Dutch land registry's (Kadaster/PDOK) location service to convert postal codes and city names into coordinates. Notary offices get their own management area to maintain their profile, services and rates, and can get extra visibility through a paid subscription handled via Mollie. The platform also includes a knowledge base with explainer articles, a customer review system, and automated emails (quotes, review requests) sent through a dedicated mail provider.
Result
- Visitors find a suitable notary office directly by searching on location and specialism (using the Dutch land registry's PDOK location service) and request a quote right there.
- Notary offices independently manage their profile, services and rates, and can get extra visibility through a paid Mollie subscription.
- The platform has been running since launch in ongoing collaboration with the client and is being extended step by step.
